Convener, Create The Future Reality TV Show
Moshood Abiola Obatula, born in the vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria, has always harbored a deep passion for the arts. This passion led him to pursue a formal education in film and television at City Varsity University, Johannesburg Campus. During these formative years, Obatula’s unique vision began to take shape, culminating in his critically acclaimed debut short film, Stretch and Plague. This remarkable work earned him the prestigious Best Director award at a local film festival, setting the stage for his future in filmmaking.

Renowned for his visually stunning and emotionally charged films, Obatula has earned a reputation as a dark visionary in the industry. His signature style is characterized by meticulous attention to cinematography, employing long takes and unconventional framing to immerse audiences deeply into the narrative. By seamlessly blending genres and infusing his films with elements of magical realism and vibrant cultural motifs, he creates a distinctive and compelling body of work.

As the convener of the Create The Future (CTF) Reality TV Show, Obatula brings his visionary approach to nurturing and showcasing emerging talent. In addition to his role with CTF, he is the CEO of Related Motion, a production company known for its bold storytelling and visually striking compositions with media services spanning across filmmaking, documentary, TV Commercials, event coverage and other media services. Related Motion films are celebrated for their profound ability to evoke deep emotions and provoke thoughtful reflection. His cinematic prowess has firmly established him as a notable figure in the film industry, leaving an indelible mark with his unique perspective on the complexities of human experience. Obatula’s contributions continue to resonate, showcasing his remarkable talent and visionary approach to filmmaking.
